The City of Hradec Kralove
Hradec Kralove is located in the northeast of the Czech Republic and has around 93,000 inhabitants. The city is on the foot of a mountain in northeast Bohemia. It is an important administrative centre of the Hradec Kralove’s region and it also hosts the episcopal see.
The city has a long and interesting history which dates back to 1062 and which you can discover if you visit the museums or take a walk along its wonderful streets. Hradec Kralove has two main parts: the old town, where the historical buildings and the city centre are located, and the new part of the city, with more modern buildings and the train station.
